Waterfall |
The other day me and Kim went to the Cascade Falls in Pembroke, VA. While it was a hard hike it was totally worth it to see this beautiful waterfall. It was neat because while the trail was man made it was made to feel like nature did it itself. There were steps made out of carved stones and little walkways made out of tree. All together it was about a 5 mile hike. Beautiful.

Stairs |
The day before we went to Pembroke i went to The New River in Radford, VA which is supposedly the second oldest river in the world (the first being The Nile). It was neat knowing that i had my feet in a river that is millions of years old. I could almost feel its history flowing over me. I took a stone from the river. I am going to hold onto it. That little stone may have been through more in its life than i ever will.
