The Beginning. The Middle. The End.: My hair was damp and my feet were deep in the sand.

Today I took a VERY long bike ride. Just rode for miles and miles. I took a break and was talking to a fellow biker whose name was Danny and he said that he was riding out to Miami Beach so he invites me to follow him there because I have no idea how to get there and he says I NEED to see it. It just so happens that the main road that the bicyclists would take to get there is closed so we would have to go over a mile bridge to get there instead. If you don't know Florida drivers really don't give a shit about much and they will hit you to get where they are going. They dont cut any breaks here. So, we end up not taking the bridge for fear of our lives and catching a bus together that takes us right into Miami beach. It was an interesting bus ride. I found out that my new found friend is from Mexico and was at one time a pro am surfer but quit after sustaining an injury to his arm. Now hes a nanny that lives on a boat with a family in Ft. Lauderdale. I had nothing to say. We got to Miami Beach and we said our good bye's and thank you's. The air smelled so nice. I went and found the first entrance I could to the beach and rode my bike right onto the beach. I was so excited to meet the ocean again. she was so beautiful. Blue. Vast. Deep. The water was freezing but I jumped right in. I got out of the water and laid on the beach for a good 2 hours. It only took my hair/body 2.5 seconds to dry. Haha. I dont lay in the sun much at all but everything felt good and I was very happy. I am red and sore. I love it. I also went to Downtown Miami tonight. It is HUGE and beautiful. All of those tall buildings were hugging the sky.
