The lights of Ft. Lauderdale shined like stars below.

I got on the plane in Buffalo and headed to Atlanta where I would wait for an hour. I walked around the airport. Observing. I got on the plane and sat in my seat. All I could think about was the plane snapping in two. I was fine coming from Buffalo to Atlanta but I was worried for some reason on the next flight. I thought about all the things I haven't done with my life. Things I want to do. Get a good job. Get married. Raise a family. I just closed my eyes and put my headphones in. Flying is so unnatural. It goes against everything. I landed in Florida and got off the plane and my head was still spinning from the flight. I got off the plane and the first thing I did was go outside. I love the way it smells here. It smells warm and damp.It smells like the ocean. I met my Dad who I have recently connected with. That's a long story for another time. Lets just put it that I am trying to mend burnt bridges. We arrived at the house in North Miami and we went inside to say hello to Carmen and the pups and we went out for a walk. It was so beautiful outside. Crickets chirping. A light breeze. The FIU campus is directly behind the house. That is one of the schools I am looking at while I am down here. We walked around the campus for awhile. It was very nice. We got back from the walk and I was exhausted. so we said goodnight and I sat out on the balcony that is off from the room I am and staying in. I was out there for a long while. I fell asleep warm.
